Robin Young, OMP
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Robin Young is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and the proud owner of Robin’s Nest Family Care. She attended the Canadian College of Osteopathy and completed her thesis in 2009. Following that Robin had her first child and started working on this vision that she had for a space for family care where a crying child was understood and siblings were welcomed. In October of 2015 Robin’s Nest’s doors were opened and a dream realized. Robin continues her education in fertility, pregnancy and pediatrics to keep up to date on the latest research to best help her patients’ concerns. She is very enthusiastic about her work and it is evident by the smile on her face.
Robin attended the University of Guelph and received her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics in 2000 and maintains her Registered Kinesiologist designation to date. After that she trained at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto, In 2009, following 5 years of study and the completion of her thesis she received her Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice. During her years of study at the college she completed many courses in cranial osteopathy, myofascial release, muscle energy, visceral manipulation, neural manipulation, obstetrics and pediatrics.

Dr. Robin Urekar
Dr. Robin Urekar is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor welcoming patients from the Guelph area to her general family practice.
After completing an honours degree in Biomedical Biology at Laurentian University, Robin pursued her naturopathic medical studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She is a member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
As a Naturopathic Doctor, Robin works with patients to address their health goals through comprehensive assessment leading to the root cause of their complaints. Combining a strong knowledge of the power and safety of natural therapies with evidence based medicine; she assists her patients in combining natural and conventional medicines, as well as patients looking for alternatives.
Robin has a general family practice, with a special interest in complementary cancer care, digestive concerns, weight loss, fertility, pre and postnatal support, and women’s health.

Clinical Social Worker
Jessica Barnes is a Clinical Social Worker, a Student Postpartum Doula, and Mom to a busy one year-old son. With over ten years of experience working with parents and families during difficult times, Jessica brings a compassionate, non-judgemental approach to helping clients plan for birth, and work through times of crises during post-partum, separation and divorce, or just the challenges of life.
She views wellness from a holistic perspective and is dedicated to helping others improve their family’s well-being through better individual health, stronger couple relationships, and child-focused parenting that comes from a place of compassion.
Jessica graduated from the University of Toronto with her Master of Social Work. For the past six years she has worked in the fields of child welfare and custody and access assessments. Jessica has completed training in the following areas; trauma, attachment, parenting after divorce, parent coaching, Emotion Focused Couples Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Parenting Capacity Assessments, and Maternal Mental Health.

Natasha is a Holistic Nutrtionist and mother to a bouncing baby boy. She is passionate about helping women and their families live healthy happy lives. Her goal is to help educate and empower others so that they can take control of their health and well-being. Through natural nutrition consulting and the use of evidence based research, Natasha creates unique plans to address the bio-individuality of each her clients. Incorporating the power of whole foods, she makes it simple for you to know what to eat and has a special love for plant-based/vegetarian eating.
By creating a holisitic health plan that honours the physical, emotional, environmental & spiritual aspects of life, she will help you stay accountable by providing support, motivation and inspiration for whatever you would like to achieve. Also holding a Bachelor of Commerce, in Human Resources and having worked in this field for 7 years, Natasha is also passionate and knowledgeable about what it takes to get the job from resume and interview prep to making a full career transition. Tania Archbold, IBCLC
Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) – Robin’s Nest Family Care Centre
Tania is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Guelph in Molecular Biology and Genetics. She has always been fascinated about how the human body works.
She became interested in the biology of breastfeeding after the birth of her first son in 2001. Since then Tania has studied human lactation extensively. Tania started her breastfeeding education through volunteering with a local mother-to-mother volunteer breastfeeding organization (LLLC), from 2008-2015. Her volunteer work led her on a path which brought her to training to become an IBCLC in 2010.

Kinesiologist, Reiki, Myofascial Release and Functional Movement Screent, Osteopath in training
Gloria Leroy is a Registered Kinesiologist and attending her fifth year at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Gloria holds a Baccalaureate in Science Honours Program from the University of Guelph, Level 2 Reiki certification, Myofascial Release and Functional Movement Screening Training. These studies sparked her interests to learn more and gave her the fundamentals to grasp the complexity of the human body. Her approach to therapy has evolved to be a facilitator to restore Health.
She is very excited about osteopathy and the positive benefits it has to offer. She lives in Guelph with her partner and almost two-year-old son. Gloria is pragmatic, honest, humane and a good listener.

Registered Massage Therapist/Student of Canadian College of Osteopathy
Robert began his career in health and wellness as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach at the University of Guelph while he was completing his B.Sc. in Human Kinetics and his M.Sc. in Biomechanics. He has provided services as a Registered Kinesiologist since 2007. He furthered his skills by attaining his Diploma in Massage Therapy and is currently a 5th year student at the Canadian College of Osteopathy.
Robert’s passion is to give patients the power to help themselves. He does this by emphasizing the importance of self-care between treatments so that patients may develop more independent control of their health. In conjunction with manual therapy, Robert often recommends movement therapy, mindfulness exercises and basic nutritional considerations.

Registered Massage Therapist/Student of Canadian College of Osteopathy
Meghan is an RMT and fifth year student at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto. Meghan has always believed in a natural, whole body approach to health care. Meghan’s love for soccer developed her interest in the body and how it moves, which led her to Brock University where she earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours). Discovering her passion for hands-on therapy Meghan enrolled at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in 2014. A year later she enrolled at the Ontario College of Health and Technology and graduated with a Diploma of Massage Therapy in 2016.
Meghan’s therapeutic approach uses gentle musculoskeletal techniques, cranial sacral therapy, visceral manipulation and a strong understanding of biomechanics. Her drive to discover the root cause of the problem gives her a global perspective to treatment. Meghan’s abilities address a wide range of age groups, however she is excited to focus on prenatal, postpartum and pediatric care at Robin’s Nest Family Care. No matter the age, Meghan educates her patients, so they can understand their journey to optimal health.
